7 months!

Happy 7 months, sweet Saylor!

(in honor of us living in Columbia, we are showing a little Gamecock love this month!)

You have grown so much this month and are such a darling little baby. Time is just going by too quickly... I am so thankful that I am able to stay home with you and not miss a minute of your precious little life. Thank you to your sweet daddy for working so hard for us ;)!

I'm not sure how much you weigh now, but I would imagine about 16.5 pounds. You have the most precious chunky legs right now, that I could just eat up. You are wearing mostly 6 month clothes and some 9 month clothes. You are still in size 2 diapers. 

You sit up completely on your own now and catch yourself when you start to lean. You try to scoot your little bottom around, but as of yet, aren't getting too far. Ha! You still don't love being on your tummy and would much rather stand.

You've been taking swim lessons this month and are such a little fish! I cannot believe how great you are in the water! Your teacher has you swimming under the water, kicking your legs and breathing out of your nose. Makin' momma proud ;)! You also finished your Little Gym class for the semester and got your medal. 

You are still breastfed and you have started to try more and more foods. Your favorites are peas, squash and pears. We introduced puffs this week and you were not a fan at all, ha! We also introduced baby yogurt and you seem to like that pretty good. 

Believe it or not, we have moved you out of your moses basket and into your crib at night, and so far, it has been such an easy transition. You still prefer your moses basket for naps, but have been great at night. Your Daddy and I miss you in our room with us, sweet angel. And speaking of believe it or not, the swaddle is officially gone! We felt certain you'd go to kindergarten in that thing, but you proved us wrong ;)

You love toys these days and reach for everything in sight. You love to play with your sissy and she always makes you laugh. As soon as you see her walk in the room, you get so excited and kick your feet. 

You are quite a little beach bum and we had so much fun with you!

You love to be out and about, which is great, because your momma does too. Here you are at play dates and out at the lake with friends. You are such an easy baby and I tote you everywhere.

You are in a very "mommy" phase, which I am totally soaking in ;). As soon as I hand you to someone else, you are immediately looking for me. I don't mind. Ha!

You are my angel, lady bug, and I love you more than I ever knew possible. I love watching you sleep. Watching you smile. Snuggling you in with me in the wee hours of the morning when you happen to wake up. I cherish every minute. I love you, sweet girl.
