The end is near...
With just 3 weeks and 2 days to go, I have been quickly checking things off my pre-babe to-do list. I spent today shopping for hospital wear, sterilizing pump and bottle parts, and ordering a few things on our list. Still a few things to do, but we are getting a heck of a lot closer.
I seriously cannot believe how close we are to meeting our little fella. His kicks have really slowed down, as I do believe he is jammed up and has no room to move. When he does move, ouch for the momma. He is sitting super low, making walking a bit of a challenge at times. I am not so sure I am going to make it to March 22nd!
I am still craving grapefruits like crazy, sometimes eating 2 a day. Hubs thinks it's a bit ridiculous, but indulges my random craving anyway.
And here I am at 36 weeks 4 days:

I am so excited to meet our sweet baby boy. Time is really flying and I am using the last few weeks to soak up every minute with Saylor as the baby of our home. Bless her sweet heart, she is not going to be thrilled having someone take her mommy's lap. Pray for us ;).

34 weeks
I cannot believe how close we are to meeting our sweet baby boy. Next month!?! Wow. I went to the doctor last week and they have moved me up to March 22nd. So at the latest, he will be making his appearance on the 22nd (5 weeks and 6 days... not that I am counting, ha). I am carrying him so much lower than I did Saylor, and keep telling hubs that I am not sure we are going to make it all the way to the 22nd. I also tell him often that I need a scooter! I officially have the pregnancy waddle. Attractive, right? All of this is new to me... with Saylor, I was sick everyday, but had none of the pains and walked and walked until past her due date. This time, no sickness, all pain, and walking isn't the most pleasant. I can't seem to decide which is better ;).
My parents came down this past weekend and we got the nursery painted and almost ready to go! We have a few more things to order and a few things to hang on the walls, but we are pretty close.

Happy 30th, KB!
Happy 30th birthday to my dear, sweet Kristen!
We've shared some of the best times of our lives together....

And now she is expecting a little girl of her own, just 4 weeks behind me. I couldn't be more excited for a sweeter, kinder person. She is a friend I will have the rest of my life and one I am so very thankful for.
She has lifted me up with her prayers, her smiles and her laughter throughout the past 10 years. I layed on her bed till all hours of the night more times that I can count in college. We shared phone dates almost daily as we both found our way through those first "career" years. I have watched her become a wife and now she will be a mother.
Happy 30th Kristen... may this be the best year ever! I am so blessed to call you my friend. I love you!
