I am beyond blessed on this Father's Day to be able to celebrate two of the most amazing men I know. My Dad... my dad is just amazing. He has loved me with a fathers love since the day I was born. At my wedding, he surprised me with our first dance to this song:
Seriously, even today, my eyes well up with tears when I listen to it. I have never in my life felt such deep emotion and love for my dad. My dad is a tough man... I think in my lifetime I have seen him cry once, when my sweet PawPaw went to be with Jesus (ummm, cue tears, as I typed that. Happy Father's day to PawPaw - we miss you everyday!). But as tough as a man as he is, he is also the man that puffy painted Christmas sweatshirts with me every year (and has kept them ;), let me wear my green jelly's with socks to the mall when my mom wouldn't, and supported me on ever journey I have made in my life. He moved me to college, and cheered me on as I earned my degree. He moved me to DC, and cheered me on as I started my first "real" job in a big city. And he put my hand in my husbands on the day we were married, showing his support for the new man to care for me and love me. I am thankful for a Dad that taught me the real meaning of love...(first dance at my wedding)

And the other amazing man I get to celebrate today is my sweet husband. Not only truly wonderful to me, but oh the love I have felt watching him love on his little girls.
I have felt no greater joy then to watch the man I love, love on our littles. Happy Father's Day, Sean... You are the rock and solid ground of our family. I love to watch the girls faces light up as soon as they see you. I love to watch you embrace them and love on them. Thank you for being the best daddy!
