3 months!

Happy 3 months, sweet Saylor!
I know I am biased, but you are the most precious baby in the world. What a gift you are. I never in a million years could have imagined how much I would love and adore you.
You are so laid back and go with the flow. I could just eat you up.
You have changed so much this month! You love to play and laugh and are so curious about this great, big world. As sad as I am that you are growing, I love each new milestone.
I would guess you weigh about 12.5 pounds now... and you must be getting long because your legs are about to bust out the bottom of some of your clothes, ha. You wear some 0-3 months clothes and some 3-6 months... just depending on what it is. You are still in size 1 diapers.
You love to stand up and look around... Your legs are so strong!
You love your paci and it has made you such an easy baby. It soothes you right away and you are a happy camper. You are starting to try to put it in your mouth by yourself and it is so cute watching you.
You still breastfeed exclusively and I love that time with you. You take a bottle pretty good if you have to... Daddy always feeds you one on Wednesday nights when I go to Bible study.
You are such a doll, sweet angel.
You are the best sleeper and we are so, so blessed! The past month you have gone to bed between 8:30 and 9 pm and sleep until 8 or 830 in the morning. You take 2 big naps a day... usually one at 10:30am and another at 2:30pm. You sleep about 2 hours. You still sleep in our room, in your moses basket... and you still love to be swaddled. A few times last week I put you in your crib for your naps and you went right to sleep.
You can hold your head up so great and we just started using your bumbo seat and jumper Santa brought you. You are still unsure about them, but are seeming to like it more and more.
You love your bouncy seat! I would have to say that and your play mat are your favorite things. You also love the bath! Each night before bed, you take a bath and totally love it. You are such a little water baby.
You have the biggest blue eyes and the new hair you are growing looks pretty light. Will you be blonde like your momma? :)
You smile when people talk to you and make all kind of sweet sounds. You are trying to talk to us and it's too cute. You laughed for the first time this month and I loved it.

Happy 3 months, my darling girl. We are so proud to be your parents. Love you forever.

  2. Saylor is sure a cutie! I follow your blog but have never commented before. I recently just had a baby girl (2 weeks ago yesterday) and I noticed in this post that you mentioned Saylor sleeps great at night and take two naps. I would love to reach that point by three months! Did you put her on any kind of schedule or routine or do you have any tips that would be helpful in getting to that point? You can e-mail me at andreadawley@hotmail.com if it would be easier to reply that way. thanks!
