Things I don't want to forget - Saylor edition

My babies are growing up too fast. I know that's life and they say cherish every minute because they'll be gone before you know it. But wouldn't it be nice to be able to have a few moments to freeze and just stay in them a little longer? Like now, the precious age of 2. If we could just pick a few moments here and there, just stop time, or slow it down maybe. I'm watching things happen so fast and can't seem to soak it all in no matter how hard I try.

Saylor is 26 months going on 6. She talks like a 5 year old. I had her in the car with me the other night, and on a rare occasion it was just me and her. It's so nice to just have one of them, every now and then. We rode 20 minutes to Hobby Lobby, shopped, and rode 20 minutes back. She carried on a conversation with me the whole way there and the whole way back. I got home and told Sean I was quite sure someone took my baby and dropped off a 5 year old in her place. She counts to 10, knows her ABC's, knows all her colors and is such a smart little thing. She loves her friends and talks about them constantly. She has changed so much this past year and I am so proud of the sweet little girl she is.
A few other things I don't want to forget about this sweet little age:

She loves Barney and especially loves Baby Bop
She loves her blanket to pieces and totes it everywhere
Her paci is gone, except for at naps and night. She leaves it in her bed when she gets up.
She potty trained herself a few months back!
She does great at school, church and the gym and is quite the social butterfly
Loves to color
Is very opinionated about what she wears - drives this mother crazy, but it's one battle I am willing to fight  ;)
Each night, we read 1 or 2 books then I lay her in bed. She asks each night for me to lay beside her for a few minutes and hold her hand.
She is so sweet to her brother and loves playing with her sister
She goes no where without a bow in her hair
Outside is her favorite place to be. She loves the park and loves to swing.
She is still a timid little thing!
It's crazy how fast it goes. We never know the love of a parent, until we become one!
