chick-fil-a

Let me be the first to say I do not like debates. Whether political, religious, etc. those are things I choose not to involve myself in. I understand we are all entitled to our own opinions and up to this point I have sat silent on the chick-fil-a issue. It has certainly generated a large amount of controversy, unnecessary, in my opinion, but controversy nonetheless. It has cluttered my facebook and twitter feed and pictures have popped up on my instagram for days. And I continued to keep away. Until today. Until I read this article.

5 reasons why the church failed on Wednesday

Yes, I support Dan Cathy's stance for traditional marriage. I base this on the biblical principles I hold dear. However, this article struck me and saddened my heart. Who am I to judge anyone? And more than that, who am I to make anyone feel hated? Whether I agree with your lifestyle, your job, or any other choice you make. I am a Christian. I follow a Jesus who calls us to love. LOVE. No matter what. We are called to love. To love our neighbor. To spread the word of God. How can we be fisher's of men when they feel hated?

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." -John 13:34-35

May we love one another. Regardless of our differences.
