Year in review... 2010

Year in review... 2010
January
Fresh off our outback adventure, we are beginning to settle into life. We rang the new year in at home complete with champagne, wine and pajamas and it was perfect.
Big snow hits Greensboro and we are having fun!
February
Chloe turns 4 and we celebrate with hot pink and zebra princess crowns.
Sean surprises me with a sweet little kitty for Valentine's day, and we name her Sydney
Sean and I head to Richmond for the GM/DOS conference. On the way back from conference, Sean is offered the job in Columbia. I cry, but am thrilled for him.

March
Sean takes the job in Columbia and although we are very sad to be leaving Greensboro we are looking forward to our new adventure. We start the house hunt and start getting our house ready to go on the market.
We have a farewell dinner with our sweet small group friends from church.
We find out we are pregnant!
At the end of the month, we announce to everyone we are having a baby.

April
We begin burning up the highway, as Sean is in Columbia during the week and I am still in Greensboro.
We have our first ultrasound and get to see our sweet baby for the first time. What a miracle.
House sells April 30th. Our God is an awesome God.

May
I start my blog.
I finished my last day with Marriott, May 14th. I am filled with so many emotions.. what a wonderful experience it has been for me.
We finally found a house in SC we love and make an offer.
I felt Baby Branch kick for the first time.
Our annual beach weekend with Sean's family.

June
We find out we are having a sweet baby GIRL!
We close on our house in Greensboro and are awaiting the close of our house in SC. In the meantime, Chloe and I move in with my mom and continue to burn up the highway to Columbia while Sean lives in the hotel during the week.
I hit the halfway point in my pregnancy and we decide we will name our sweet little girl, Saylor.
We are pulled through the ringer on the closing and wait as patiently as possible for our home to close.

July
Sean's birthday and our annual July 4th week at the beach.
Sean and I head to NYC for a few days to hang with Carrie and Chad and see DMB and ZBB at the Mets Stadium.
We finally close on our house in Columbia and begin the move in process.

August
My birthday celebration in Greensboro followed by my 10 year high school reunion and my first baby shower.
We have a 4d ultrasound and fall in love with Baby Girl Branch all over again.
The nursery is starting to come together.
My brother gets engaged!

September
My mom, dad and brother spend a weekend in Columbia putting the nursery and Chloe's room together with us. We are so thankful!
We had 2 wonderful baby showers - one at Melody's and the other at the Covington's
We begin taking our birthing classes.
My belly is growing by the day.

October
Nursery is almost complete and we are gearing up to meet our baby girl.
We pack our bags and have them ready for the hospital.
My belly is still growing. Now by the minute.
We have a scare at 38 weeks but our comforted by God's sweet grace and his mighty power as we learn Saylor is perfectly healthy.

November
Saylor is born November 10, 2010 at 6:25 pm. She weighs 7 lbs 2 oz and is 19.5 inches long.
I love her so much my heart feels like it could explode.
We bring her home and fall into life with a newborn, loving every second.
Sean and I celebrate our wedding anniversary and take our 11 day old baby out to dinner with us, ha!
Families converge on Columbia for Thanksgiving at our house this year.

December
We head to Greensboro to surprise my Mom for her birthday and have Saylor's Sip and See.
Chloe has her Christmas program at school and it is precious.
We gear up for Christmas and are ready to ring in the holidays.
Merry Christmas!

What a year. We got pregnant. Sold a house. Bought a house. Moved to another state. Changed jobs. Had a baby. Loved all the way....

Here's to the love, joy and smiles of 2010. Cheers!
