It's a GIRL!

We went in for our ultrasound yesterday. I didn't sleep all night (I am known for being like a kid at Christmas when things are exciting and not sleeping all night, ha!) We headed to the doctor for our 8:30 appointment and I was so anxious the whole way. They did the normal blood work, weight (up 1 lb since last appointment) and then told us to have a seat and we'd be called shortly.

We were called into the ultrasound room and were ready to see the little peanut. Baby Branch popped up on the screen and was scratching her little head. They took a look at her heart, brain, etc... and everything looks great! They then went to take a peek between her legs to see if she was a boy or girl. No mistaking this is a little girl! I was so overcome with emotion, I cried! Ha! We enjoyed seeing her move all around, wave her little hands, and then entire time the nurse was laughing because she looked like she was talking (definitely my child, ha!)

I must say, all along I felt like I have been carrying a boy, so I was shocked when "It's a girl" popped up on the screen. We are so excited to add a sweet little girl to our family. I guess it is Sean's lot in life to be surrounded by women ;)! Sean and I laughed as we were leaving that we are really going to be in some serious bow and princess land now!

Now on to naming this little girl. We have 2 names we have gone between for quite some time now (before we were even pregnant, ha!), so now it is just deciding.

Thank heaven for little girls...
